"I like em' Glenn.  Had one.  My LONG TERM go to amp is a Roland Micro Cube.  A good step up in sound and modeling and still can run on batteries."

"Good strings, but pricey for a three.  Does Gitty still sell packs of individual strings?   I like the Musicians Gear strings from Musicians Friend.  Perfectly good strings (six packs for standard tuning) for pretty cheap prices."

"That is a handsom bunch of same but different gits.  Nice dark necks and headstocks, beatiful looking fret jobs and nicely symetrical tuner placement.  "

  • Thanks for comment on build…curious to see what this sounds like

  • If you buy one of those preferred necks from MGB , let me know how it works out….getting ready to head to China for 2 weeks, so not much time before trip to work on guitars

  • I got that neck from MGB , 1.5 in wide

  • Thanks for the comment Uncle John, Best thing about the bridges, easy to make and adjustable.

  • Thanks for the feedback on my latest build. You posted before I completed the details, so I could not get back to your comments via the email links. The yellow parts do seem to contrast nicely with the darker wood color. The winding sound holes are intended to be the outline of my version of a violin bass body. Trying something different visually.

  • Thanks John, if you learn of tutorial on bass, let me know. Thanks and Glory to God!

  • Hey Uncle John, can you help me make a weedeater cord bass? I have the cord, I just need to see one that is done, to copy. Dave Lynas never made one, so I have not learned yet. Can you help me
