  Thanks for taking the time to comment. It never dawned on me that the tuners are designed to be used in a certain direction, but it definitely makes sense. I'm really not too concerned tho. At least that tuner is doing what it was designed to do, unlike pretty much everything else on there. For my first build I wanted to stay true to what I thought was the whole idea, build an instrument from whatever you can get your hands on. I had a cheapy Strat-copy in my basement from a past failed attempt at learning an instrument, so I had 6 tuners. I'm a 51 year old carpenter, not a musician. I started playing the ukulele 7 months ago and I suck, but I love it and I love these things, everything about them. Anyway, I used what I had. I'm way more worried about the cheap ukulele tuner on the middle one!
