Question:

I wanna be able to present my videos with me playing my guitar alone, and my harp alone.....in the same video....while being accompanied by the other instrument, If you follow what I'm trying too explain. So my question is this....How do I go about making a video with me playing both, while being accompanied by either or in Window's Music Maker 2.6?

 Anyone know anything?

  • You can edit video with the free Windows Live Movie Maker (Vista version) You can split screen in the Vista Windows version, but not in the latest version of Movie Maker ( crazy, right?), and put each vid in one. The hard part is syncing up the audio, which you can also split off, but it's really not that difficult .

You gotta video yourself playing git, and then playing harp.

Or you can get one of these:

There's plenty of free vid editors out there that can do the job. You may also want to chat up Neanderpaul, who has done some of the best multi-tracked, multi screen vids I've seen here on the Nation, I think even using his iPhone!
  • You'll need a video editing suite Reeds - I use AVS Video Editor for all my vids, you can dub edited music tracks (WAV or MP3) on top of the video track or exclude the video track altogether :-)
