Hello,
I have started a CBN group entitled, "How to Play CBG" It is my hope and intention to encourage the "Wealth of Talent" here on the Nation to share their knowledge and skill to further the CBG movement. Please consider contributing an instructional "video" link to this group. If you are a viewer seeking instruction, please feel free to write. If you have any suggestions or know other players who you think may want to post instructional "video" links, please contact me. Thank you for your interest and support, Keni Lee
Hi I'm new here. I recently inheried a CBG built by Fuzzy Lightner. It's a 4-string and I've been researching tunings for it. CHatroom folk here said you had some of fuzzy's work.
What can you tell me about him?
Hey Ham,
I totally spaced on the CD you left when you visited my place. I've been listening to it all morning and you guys are great! The sound you and Slide have is somehow tight and loose at the same time if that's possible, which is a good thing... I'm particularly fond of cut #3 but I don't recall the title?
Keep up the great work... and I look forward to hearing you guys live.
Thanks for your comment on Ol' Devil.
Unfortunately the neck wasn't strong enough for the six steel strings so I had to change it to nylon strings.
Still sounded ok but I prefer steel. I use harder wood now.
Hiya mate Thanks for the comment on the CBG #2 glad you like it - it plays real nice , gonna be building some more very soon can't wait to get back into building i've not built anything for ages due to work commitments
Cheers mate
