True about the tunes that got lost. Still, there are so many out there that I'll never have time to learn them. I sat down and figured that I've got about 200 old time tunes I can play on fiddle (poorly) but when I sit down at a festival with folks I've never met they might play for an hour or more before they get to one I know!
I am planning to go to Worley Gardner. I've got to double check the date and hope the weather co-operates. I'll be posting pics and video of a newly completed mountain banjo tomorrow. It's built on a cookie tin rather than wooden pot and sounds surprisingly good. I hope to bring it and some other oddities up there and then grab folks to play them on stage as part of Junk Mtn String Band.
Hey Spence. The weather killed my internet for a while. I'm back up. I love seeing the vids. I'm challenged in that department. I got one short one together but haven't tried since. I need to learn how better. Seems like Spring may be coming at last. It's been above freezing for a few rainy days and melted most of the snow in my yard. Happy Spring. .... Dave

Watching your performance from the PA fest - I love that claw style you have - well done!
I see you are from West by God. I nearly grew up in Madison and Danville staying with my grandma.I Miss the mountains sometimes.
Thanks for the friend request Spence - even if you didn't build it, looks great!
