Hey Stephen I just saw your post about jamming, I've been overseas with the military so I'm trying to catch up if you still are up for playing let me know...WV rules..........
Hey all! Just to let everyone know there will be Festival of the rivers event in hinton over labor day weekend if anyone is interested. Free festival with live music, free pool & waterslide pass along with CBG workshop that I will be conducting. Hope you can make it.
Hi, guys & CW. Survived here ok but a lot of people still don't have power. We didn't lose ours, but around Clarksburg it is bad. I am contracted to Jaflo, and Asplundh, the people who cut the trees from downed lines. We fix their trucks and equipment, and I have been out every day on repair work. They can't stop cutting so we go on the road and patch them up so they can keep going. They are on 7 16's untill everybody has power, it's not over yet.
I heard the western part of the state got it bad too.Are you guys in Wheeling ok?
no. i just met c.w. but no new news from the others for a while. i been tryin to stay busy with new builds because i have a workshop to instruct in sept. for festival of the rivers in hinton. i am trying to get at least 10 built in vtime for it because i'm sitting up a stand as well. hopefully i can sell some of them. they usually have live music and such, plus it is at the waterslide/pool so there should be a decent crowd. you and the rest in the vgroup should try to come down and check it out.
I am still alive, been burning midnight oil at work. Plus large Honey Do List.
Also trying to polish lyrics for a couple of songs for album.I can't go to studio without some changes. Album will probably be in bargain bin at local Feed and Grain, but some people actually like my music. These people are either tone deaf or have no idea of what music is supposed to sound like.Still working on getting shop organized so I can build CBG. Had to stop untill house remodel is done, shop is now called "TOTE LAND" full of everthing that was in our remodel area. Hope to be done by fall. I did buy a new guitar and a bass. + the amps to go with them. I now have 9 amps., and don't know why I need a bass at my age.But my stepson says he will teach me the basics.
How are you guys doing? I hope all is well. Are you building anything?
Hey any of you all in the wheeling area, I'm looking for some people to jam out with and possibly start a band with. I'm pretty bored sitting around playing to tracks. My hopes are to find people better then me so I can learn from them and I might be able to get behind my drumkit again. Anyway shoot something if anyone is interested.
