  • hi brendan,i like your guitars rough sawn wood & cardboard really shows the spirit of the thing.
  • hey brendan, i learned how to cut glass years ago the old fashioned way with a regular handheld glass cutter. i just score around the neck patiently then tap the bottle with a hammer. after it breaks off, i knock off any "bumps" with the ball of the glass cutter then sand down all the edges with some sand paper. 120 works really well, seems like silicone carbide paper is the best but anything works, i've used 220 auto paper before. let me know if you're interested in one. i've got like 20 bottles at home that my wife wants me to cut up and get rid of:)
  • Hey thanks, I appreciate it. I gave Shane some liner notes for my song but I guess not enough people gave him liner notes to mess with it.

    Here are my notes:

    Title: The Holly Bop
    Artist: Skeesix

Description: The Holly and the Ivy meets the Blitzkrieg Bop, along with messing around with some of the presets on my Boss recorder. All guitar and bass sounds are played by me on my 3 string Hoyo de Monterrey box with a Skeesix Scorch and Twang pickup, straight into the Boss.
  • Brendan , Thanks for the comments ... These things are like potato chips , you cann't build JUST one .... Like has been said before there are no rules to building , just wing it .. happy building :- )
  • Hey Brendan! Thanks for the good words my friend! The two-stringer I just posted pics of is my tenth CBG thus far.
  • Hello,
I have started a CBN group entitled, "How to Play CBG" It is my hope and intention to encourage the "Wealth of Talent" here on the Nation to share their knowledge and skill to further the CBG movement. Please consider contributing an instructional "video" link to this group. If you are a viewer seeking instruction, please feel free to write. If you have any suggestions or know other players who you think may want to post instructional "video" links, please contact me. Thank you for your interest and support, Keni Lee
