My last git had two sound holes on the front of the box but for my new one i want to put image on the box and no matter what way i put soundholes on the front counting the bridge pickup and holes its guna cover up too much of my image!
I completed a nice fretted 4-stringer and started stringing it up, then the "Senior Moment" hit. What was the correct tuning? I looked at the string package and it showed G major as DGBD. Then I looked at a chord char
Just picked this up as a garage sale. Model 1448 guitar and amp case... guitar almost virgin with just a few stains. Case has a couple of nicks, a cigarette burn and a hinge to be repaired. Amp powers up, but just hums.....
Curious to hear how yall shape your necks? I usually use the bandsaw to get a rough shape, then smooth it out on the sander. I would use hand tools, but have wrist problems. Any router users out there (table or hand held router)?

I have just started making my first 3 string cbg and am confused about the length of the neck. I am making mine 25.5" from the nut to the bridge will this be OK? Sorry to bother you guys with this but I just want to get it right. Many thanks John E C

Can someone help me with a diagram or good description on how to place a rod piezio pickup under the bone? Does the bone go directly on the pickup or is the pickup in a channel under the saddle?
