  thanks fer yer comment lourie lee bout the wirespool fretless banjo vid. the reason it sounds like it do i believe is cause i used wound nylon strings.course the metal from the tin wirespool also gives it that fat kinda tone too,thanks again.

  I  don't get on CBN as much as I'd like, too many irons in the fire. You know what it's like. But I just hadda' come by and say howdy to my mentor and very inspirational friend.  I'm really enjoyin' listenin' to your beautiful music as I write... I miss ya'...sigh.
