Redwood neck
Need some advise. Getting ready to start my third build and considering using Redwood for the neck with a Rosewood fretboard. This will be a three string. Does anyone know of possible problems with the Redwood neck?

Neck and lid
Question? When I cut opening on my cigar box for the neck, I cut it so the neck doesn't touch the box lid on the inside when the box is closed. Is this ok or should I add something to the neck to fix it? Thank you in advance.
