There is a post on low budget land that you can use a speaker as a cbg pickup....kinda like a peizo.....is there someone here on the nation tha is doing this? And if so, could they post some pics. Thanks. Do they sound better the peizo's?

I usually make my necks without any fret locators at all. I mark out the 3-5-7- & 12 on the edge of the neck and use a slide. My question is can I just burn on the fret locations on the neck and not use actual fret wire. Will it play as if it did h
Now that I've working out the correct tuning another problem has reared its ugly head. Fretting! When playing one finger chords the large G string (.044) frets really well its those pesky D (.034) and G (.026) strings that won't lay down.
