Wesseh Freeman oil can guitar

Hi everyone! I am thinking of building guitar in Wesseh style. While I can figure out most of things I don't yet know the fret placement. It looks a bit different in two videos: https://youtu.be/1dgsTWMV_iA and https://youtu.be/Mqbbv4rChNI Shane made a video about tribute guitar - but there are no frets there... Any suggestions?
