Read more…After finishing my 6-string electric, I have a straight-wound pickup left over. (Standard non-humbucking "Strat" pickup)
I want to use this in a four-string..... I see some of the guys angle the pickup so as to more-or-less align with the strings.

Ok, dumb question but were do you prefer the jack pluck on a cbg, in the back(end) bottom or on the face of the box. I'm thinking the back is best but I see some on the front and wonder what you more seasoned guitarists think. I want to know more for

Read more…This weekend here in Rochester, NY there is a Ribs and Blues Fest... Got me thinking about CBN and how to better integrate into fest... It seems to me that either the bands here on the nation are 1-2 man bands, I can't watch that for more then 1 set.
