  thanks for your advice, that is how i wired it for the first one. the second one i wired the same way but i used a single coil pickup and it seems to work unlike the humbucker on the first one

  hey nigel thanks for the reply.i am also building my second cbg.i have a question about the pots to wire pickup.what ohm? i cant turn volume all the way down is it the wrong pot

  I know how that feels - I finished the neck for my first one and then as I tapped in the little ferrule thing for one of the tuners the headstock split right down the middle - but I managed to salvage it and now claim the new headstock shape as my own copyright shape :) I'm thinking that this time I might buy some tools.

  Heh, I got my first done a couple of weeks ago, only to realize that in my excitement, I drilled the peg holes too close together. Now I just have to find time to make a new neck and I'll be right as rain.
