No sorry it was my first attemp to build a banjo or any type of instrument. Just took a whack at it. It needs some fine reworking on it. But I was in a hurry to start on my CBG. I was debating if I was going to even post it on here.
That's a sweet score man. I been lusting after an old Gibson for a while now. I'm trying to sell a few of my guitars to fund one if I can find the right one
sorry about the delay in writing - basically I know less than nothing about electronics and I wired my pick up by trial and error - soldering and unsoldering wires and pots and switches until it worked so I can't help you - wish I could - if you look at my test video you'll my face shows how I'm expecting to boom and up through the ceiling when I plug it into an amp for the first time - and the next pick up I found for CBG 2 seems to have even more wires - I think you best get good advice from someone who knows what they are talking about - but thanks for asking
Welcome aboard, Dave! You will find lots of helpful folks and information here on all things CBG (CBU, CBB, etc.) Feel free to poke around, ask questions, and post your stuff (photos, recordings, videos, etc.).
Hey Dave, I just happened to be on the site when you popped up so thought I'd welcome you. I'm on my second build at the moment so still working it all out - but its great fun.
Cheers
