I know it's not a cigar box build, but I just finished my first solid body build mandolin. Featuring a figured bubinga neck through a sapele body, rosewood fretboard, flatpup 5 wired directly to the jack. 14 7/8 scale length.This thing was originally a commissioned CrocBite, but it is so much fun... I might be hooked!

It is a beauty. Don't know if you play mando or not, but there is (or was) a site called Mandolin Cafe that has some easy 2 finger chord charts.
Tiny non-cigar box guitars deserve respect too, awesome
