    Hi Jim, I have a similar can and a friend asked me to build him a banjo. How did it sound? would you recommend using this type of can? Also. how did you attach the neck to the can?

    Made perfect sense, Maddog. I'm just getting over a bout with the flu myself. That explains the fever induced idea of a gas can guitar!

    You are not alone Jim, some of my best lookers sound the worst and some of my worst lookers sound the best :-)

    Did that make sense??? I am under the weather and not thinking straight, so basically it's a normal day ;-)

    Thanks Maddog. I've built plenty of instruments that look good but sound less than good so it was nice to reverse that!
