distressing chrome parts
I want to use 2 pickups for a 6 string solid guitar ,but I would like to 'age' the chrome covers . has anyone got any ideas to get that look ?

i've wired up a single coil to a 250k pot and tone and i'm getting terrible distorted sounds. sustain is good but sound is almost a buzz rather than a clear note . faulty pot? no eathing hum etc ..help..using typical SD wiring diagram...

ok,i've read somewhere on cbn about fitting a mag pup inside the lid on the tin,my question is-does it need to be under the strings or is anywhere as effective, the bracing i fitted won't let me place the pup near the strings.

i''ve made one 'solid' body but i was constructed in layers with a through neck, all glued together in a sandwich with channels cut for pup/controlsetc
any ways to fit bolt-on would be helpful ..home made neck of course.
