Mini humbucker with rails has to be the winner Jabes :O)
....and it is just begging to be coil tapped.
Good looking build - am I right in thinking it is 2 boards joined?
I recently made one out of a chopping board this way
Partly because I wanted to have a go with diodes. The 3 smaller knobs are volumes with diodes on - volume to 3 discs in parallel immediately under the hardtail and one to each of the minihumbuckers. Each one acts as a mixer knob to each pickup and the tonal variety is superb. The volumes are push pulls so I also did a bit of coil tapping which also worked out well. As ever I then got side tracked and guess I'll now wait to get the spray cans out in the sunny weather.
yes it's 2 boards , the h/buck has 4 wires which i've figured out ,if you could fix me with a diagram i'd be sorted. wiring not my greatest asset. got a mini on-on-on switch and blend pots, ?? just glued the boards together after a hours routing....nice guit btw

Hi Jabes,
series/single coil/parallel using on/on/on switch
http://warmanguitars.co.uk/wiring_diagram_downloads/phase-reversal-...
Phase switch http://warmanguitars.co.uk/wiring_diagram_downloads/phase-reversal-...
and best of all diodes http://www.strat-talk.com/forum/stratocaster-discussion-forum/13405... you just wire a diode where you have a hot wire coming off a volume pot and it acts as a one way valve and stops that pot affecting the whole signal when it is turned down.
Another series/singlecoil/parallel mod I like is to use the seymour Duncan Esquire mod
http://www.seymourduncan.com/support/wiring-diagrams/schematics.php... but you need the same kind of 3 way as in the diagram (axesrus sells them).
Both black
personally, I'd cover them with a darker wood cover plate.
