Really cool, Richey! I'd thought of doing something similar - though not as extreme - to possibly make fretting a little easier on the upper frets (farther from the nut). And to Uncle John's comment about the optical illusion, it sort of looks like the right side of the fretboard sags in the middle section! Awesome!
Thanks guys. Scott: I've seen a couple before. Bairfoot Cajun made one. I've never seen one with a tapered neck though and believe me, that posed its own problems!

It's a beauty. I don't understand so much, but I believe it would be a good player and love the look.
