Greenridge Steam & Gas Engine show

Great place and good time. Nice people and good food. Old tractors, steam powered saw mill, other steam engines, crafts.I had fun playing here. Not on stage, just walking around and then sitting a spell and playing. I had lots of people interested in home made music and some of them singing along. I think I will go back tomorrow and take a couple CBGs and an amp.

  • Oh!  It does have backward opening doors (so called suicide doors) like Bonnie and Clyde's.   How you doing, Steve?

  • love the Bonnie and Clyde car! :-)

  • Thanks, Jim, Dave and Patrick.   Will let you know next year Pat.

Black and white suits me, Dave.

Jim, yes there were a lot of places too lazy to play.  I played in a craft hall, by an ice cream maker, in the food kitchen!  and by the rope maker.

My friend T. Robert Johnson went Sunday and two of his songs were 'The Old Gray Mare' when two horsed pulling a wagon went by and in the black smith shop---  Can you guess?

  • Everything about the pic is right, good capture John!

Hell, I  would of made the trip up if I'd known. Only an hour fifteen for me.

  • You look at home in black and white and an old car Uncle.
  • Lookin good Unc. Judging from the old engine shows I've been to you're likely to need an amp with a bit more than 2 watts! Those things chug along pretty loud!

  • No album from me, Gary, but thanks for the thought.  That big box tenor is tuned DGBE and has good volume and fair tone,

  • BTW - that a great looking gitty!  Looks big, like some sort of dreadnought?  Nice!

  • UJ - I'm seeing this as your album cover....  Just sayin'.....

  • Thanks, Gary.  Would have been even better without that old guy blocking view of the car.
