Read more…OI ran in to a problem on a custom order. I received a black cohiba box that looked perfect. While waiting for parts I sprayed the box with acrylic laquer to protect it. After the clear dried there are smudges and finger prints all over it.

Read more…Hi, yesterday I mentioned on Sean Murphy's spokeshave post about a jig to aid in the sharpening of short blades. This one took under ten minutes to make. As I never throw anything away, I had all the parts to hand.

Yesterday was spent cleaning the garage (that continues tomorrow), but because the first thing I had done was replace a garage door spring, and got a sore back in the process, today I worked on the bass.
