Love Cedar. Great looking Gits. Love the volute on the back of the necks.
Shaping and constructing the neck is my favourite parts of building these thingsn
5 string, open G ala Keith Richards is next in the bench

Hibdon Hardwood sells irregular neck blanks cheap, you can usually get 2 CBG necks from one blank
Spanish cedar works easy and finishes nicely

Yes we are all well the last opp I had on my bad nerve damage has helped , can get my arm above my my shoulder height with not much pain , I’m still building machines for local artist here in OZ just not bothered to put them up any site , had my Lucky 7 & El Gordo , ripped off by some Chinese asshat you know how it goes my dear friend. Being enjoying watching you creat your great CBG Ben say hi to your cheeks n kissers maybe we can start to message each other I have a bit more time up my sleeves ..
