  • Thanks, Richard and Norbert.  Rich, that is a good pic of you at Cali-Fest.  Loved the truck and setup.  You should had had that well endowed washboard playing gal in the pic.

  • Cowboys rock! Nice effect of the shadow, a sort of  metaphor for leaving the past behind for better good! Most happy trails to you Uncle in your new adventure. Closer to family is a win win! I see you have the pawn shop ready!1241386334?profile=RESIZE_710x

  • Thank you, Derek.

  • Great version of a classic. Best wishes on your journey Unc!

  • Hi Andries.  Thanks for all the kind good wishes.  We are leaving some good things behind to be nearer family.   And there is a lot to do in and near our new town of Ogden, Iowa.

    We currently live about a mile from the Nishnabotna River and we will move to about 2 miles from the Des Moines River.  It is a big strong river.  The Nish is one you could wade across in most places or cross on the ice today.

  • When i was looking on the google earth site to see where you lived in the Usa ,a fjew years back i did not see that Red River valley UJ , but maybee the collors where off because of the fall, but i to hope it works out for you living in your childrens near hood, and hope it brings you happines and forfilment in you and your wife's live!

  • Thanks, Jim.  We are going to try to make it fun.  :)

  • I enjoyed this Unc. I hope you guys enjoy the new adventures.

  • Thanks, Nancy.  We are looking at the move as a challenge and being moved as a new adventure.  We'll be a hundred miles closer to you;
