It's Saturday here in the great white north, but I think it is Sunday in AGP land and other places. Well dedicate this one to Wichita Sam.

  • Good classic Gospel.

  • To Bad Uncle back in the day that was one of the great American Freedom features Of the USA ! Free radio ,and how about all the student Highschool Radiostations ? all gone to?

  • Andries, there is little or no live music from radio stations here.

  • Can you play on your local radio station ?

  • Andries, I think that station is gone.  It's local competitor Radio KMA is still going, but I think regulations reduces their broadcast power.   Radio KMA had live programs back in the day and brought the young Everly Brothers to town and they played on the radio almost every day.

Alan, I feel kind of good about knowing what day it is!   Ha, it's too cold for my SaTURDay sock.  Got my thermal socks on.

  • Correctamundo 'UJ', Sunny Sunday here in the Land Down Under, I usually have to wait til Monday, to receive a Gospel Sermon from you, but your a day early this time, and I do hope your not going to wear those Sat-turd-day socks to Church tomorrow, as you may be struck by lightning from above on entering!  ;-D

  • is that Radio Station  Circuit in the States still in function ! or are they all  commercial  radiostations, or is it a goverment  controled  franciase? John ? can anyone get his music played on these stations?

  • Thanks, Sam and Brian.  Brian that radio hymnal was a gift from a good CBG guy, Patrick Mallete, AKA the Maddog.  He thought I would dig it and I do.  Lots of Iowa history with it.  It was put out by Henry Fields Seed Company of Shenandoah, Iowa.  There were two BIG plant and seed nurseries out of that town and they competed for business with two high power radio stations.  I think they had listeners hundreds of miles away.   This book was published in 1927 with Radio KFNF and sold for 30 cents.

  • Another good one uncle, that hymnal has some miles on it, how long have you had it?

  • Thanks friend.... Well done!!
