  Thanks guys... the low down on those strings are the 6-4-3 strings out of as set of heavy (11's) electrics (Fender I think)... Three stringer... the "E" string on the top mop handle and the "D" and "G" on the bottom mop handle.
  
  I have it toned open "D" D - d- a
  
  It's going to be a while before I'm playing anything complicate...if I ever do. Really makes you appreciate the Pat MacDonalds of the world...
