I really enjoyed that. 3/4 time stripped right down to the beautiful bones. And simple wonders visuals to match. Thanks. (Another great tune for my driftin’ off to sleep playlist...)
Oh so very peaceful and serene. Beautiful visuals and natures music blend them together. Spring is refreshing the lake, your garden, and you Dave. Great video totally!
Thanks Kale. Wow, you’ve been blasting off with your 8 on 8 songs. I’m falling behind seeing them all. It’s a busy time for me with a big garden to launch. My back aches. I have a fat covid belly to drag around with me. I used to swim every day at the YMCA but lockdown ended that last year. I hope to return there soon and get my belly gone again. :*)...
Thanks Unc. I like waltz’s too. Any tune you get to hold your gal close is a good tune. I loved dancing at the sock hops back when. And later at the big dance halls. I got to see Bo Diddly and dance right in front of him. That experience changed my life’s path. I saw Gerry Lee Louis too. The carving is the “sweeper” at a Cuban Cigar factory. it’s been so pretty at the lake. Spring is a big affair this year. Hope Springs Eternal. Such blue skies. Blooming trees, even the big woodpecker seems happy. ....
Thanks Andries. It’s a Chevy Aveo. Gertrude 45mpg with light duty as a farm vehicle. When a bear ran into us it changed from fancy to pickup car. An 8 ft. 4x2 fits in there. 12 of them.
I wore out my old pickup truck back about 2001. I drive em till completely wore out. And I’m an old Hippy. A sub Human creature according to many. Thanks for giveness. I could use some. But I want to go further down the evolutionary Path to sub Hippy. I’ve got a ground hog with a burrow right next to our garden. He’s smarter than me, so maybe make me a whistle pig.
i don’t mow lawns anymore. Let nature take care of it. My last mower is becoming a part of the little woodshed. The bees, wildflowers, wild plum trees and I like the new deal. So does Yanis. We have an old weed wicker to make some paths though the field (you get to call it that when you quit mowing a lawn). Oh it’s Island Lake. A reservoir lake for a power co. We water some of the garden with a tiny pump from her waters.
Aw, Dave. The video title had me hopeful and you did not disappoint. I like a waltz. The simplicity of this one shines bright. A very slow head swayer and a tempo that maybe old guys like us could shuffle around to. Pretty scenes too. That blue sky and white cloud. Nice flowers and greenery and I like th old cowboy in the sound hole. I can hear the drag of slow waltzing feet.
i figured you for a Jeep or Old Pickup kind of guy, was a bit of a culture shock when that fender of that modern automobile came in frame , so your human afterall , and foregiven ! calm & easy feeling , a nice rest after mowing the lawn ! Dave-L-olicioes ! whats the name of that lake/pond?

That was a pleasure to watch and listen to Dave. It's place where I could while a way a little time and drink it all in.
