  • Mulit-meter. Right. Is that the same as licking yur fingers and seeing which wires hurt to touch?? (kids, do NOT try this at home. or anywhere else).
    The amp bit is already earthed with a strap to casing so I guess thats ok. Funny tho, i did turn it on first time with a long stick and my eyes shut lol
    Just looking for a suitable strip light as theres not a lot of room in there and id like it to illuminate the speaker cone - pics when done
  • i reckon you could take a power supply from one of the transformers Secondry outputs - you would need a multimetre to test it while its plugged in and switched on , would have thought there would be a output of around 12volts , whatch what your doing though , also the power supply lead (with the plug on the end ) does it have a earth wire aswell as the live and neutral ? - if it has a earth it may be a good idea to add a earth from the circuit board to the metal fire just to be on the safe side !
