Went with red in the end (I guess you spotted that already) with some light ageing and a satin finish rather than gloss

    That is the absolute coolest amp, ever! I didn't spot the speaker right away . . . and thought it was just a head.

    Had it fired up before the laquer was dry Peter! lol Sounds pretty good really - the amp it was a dog when I got it, crackly pots, bits missing etc (hence the forum question - all now fixed), but its a 2 channel and has reverb built in so its fine for the messing with at home.
    Tim, I had the fire for ages, but didnt really know what to do with it - then someone gave me that little amp and bingo! :o)
    Best bit is my mrs doesnt mind it sitting in the front room - result!
