  • Sweet! Great character and detail.

  • Love it Dave.,.,!!    i think that rooster is looking at me.,.,.,

  • Daniel, the steamer leaves come from a fold out steamer. There are 24 leaves on each strainer and I have used two steamers so far. And I have an unused one in the waiting as well as a brand new one found at the grocery just recently. I find them ideal for tails.

  • It works great Uncle. Very nice sound. However, the top wood is very thin and weak. It sagged even with my interior plate of Walnut. I’m going to open it up and add more bracing. Also add a pad under my bridge to raise it and spread the pressure. I’m not going to get one of these boxes again. I’ll get the box kit instead. Much better wood. And it isn’t pre finished so you can color the wood. I’ll post a sound sample later when I get my storage emptied on my pad. Daniel, I think it sounds as good as a Wicked Bucker. Or close anyway. My string ground works good for no sizzle.

  • love the drawing. love the git. i'd also like to know how the pickup works under the box. great idea. where do you get all those strainer tail pieces?

  • Good idea on hiding the pickup.  Tell me how that works our for sound and playing.  Great looking playable art.
