Using old and busted guitar cases to become the "picture frames" for some of the instruments. The cases will be mounted on the wall. Then I'll place guitar hangers inside to hold the instruments just right. It's a poor man's version of the Hard Rock Cafe' method of presentation.

The Ted Crocker "Six Banger" will only be on temporary display for the next year. I'll be shuffling certain guitars in and out...depending on if I plan on using them in concert or not. The Crocker deserves to be seen in the museum, but I'd like to pull it out eventually for performances.
BTW, I'll be adding at least 6-10 instruments to the 35+ instrument collection. Once done, I'll have it fully documented on the www.SpealsTavern.com website.
Let me go thru the initial re-do...once I'm done, I'll have a better idea on what can be sponsored/supported, etc. I've got about 12 hours of work ahead of me, not counting all the prep work I've been doing these last couple weeks! When I'm finished, Speal's Tavern will be a definite stop for tourists.
I'll be adding more instruments (including the 1910 cbg pictured above), historic pictures and even some original artwork by CBG'ers. There will also be a bunch of museum placards with historic facts about CBGs...and the great musicians who played them. I want the walls to be jam packed!
