It was a GDg 3 string and some of my best work. But it never pleased me for tone. It was a pretty wall hanger.I've been playing a bit of uke blues of late and a 4 string tuned DGBD plays the same way (but sounds a different key) as compared to my concert uke. I made this a tenor yesterday (DGBD) and now it pleases me. :)

  • Darn you, Jerry.  Now I wish I sill had it!   And those summer time rose moss look mighty good too.

  • What Bluesheart said.,.,.!!

  • Thanks, Bruce!

  • Great git, great pic!

  • Thanks, Richey.  It's a good tuning (DGBD) and also I will go with DGBE and play it with the same fingerings I would playing blues uke.    I do have 2 other 4 strings tuned GDGB.

  • Certainly a looker John. I'm playing a lot more 4 string these days, but not in the same tuning. I would like to give it a try as it's the same tuning as the banjo :-)
