I don't understand how you can play it with the strings all crossing over each other in that odd circular arrangement. Is it played by being cranked? Not unlike a hurdy gurdy?
I watched the Tour de France Grand Depart this weekend. Saw the start in Leeds and then bused it to Harrogate to watched the finish. It was an amazing day, the number of people who lined the roads everywhere was unbelievable. Just a shame Cav came a cropper and busted up his shoulder.
Managed to snap a shot of the riders as they went past in Leeds and was lucky to catch Chris Froome, Mark Cavendish and Alberto Contador. (The riders to the right of the Yorkshire flag)
Cheers guys. I've been riding this for my work commute for 6 years now, and done something in the region of 12,000 miles on it... it's good to see it looking like new again!
John - well spotted, it is a fixie. Riding fixed is absolutely my favourite way to ride a bike. You can concentrate entirely on your surroundings so its perfect for traffic. You get out of it every bit of effort you put in. You do spend the first 2 weeks falling off all the time though :)
Wish I could have got to see some of the TDF action, but I've been working all weekend. Will catch some on the telly!

That's right Clock, you turn the bit in the middle. It's a pain tuning 64 strings as well :-(
