Wood barn sash windows from Menards. Inexpensive and old style. They fit the look of our old house. My bigger tools like band saw, belt sander and clamps etc. can live out here. I've got a workbench at my pottery to bring. Much pottery storage as well as woodshop. I'm a happy camper. T111 to haul tomorrow.

Thanks Timbre. Just the door to frame up and one more window by the door. Then trim it up. Ix4s around the windows. Lath to cover the seems in the T1-11. I'm helping a neighbor and friend on Nation build his sauna also. We just framed the door there this morning. He's been helping me and so i'm helping him...
We've had some terrific fall weather. Mild and in the 50s and 60s. Dry too. My garden is finally put to bed except my fruit trees. I finally have had the time to work on this project. It's supposed to get cold now, into the low 30s with some snow. Lucky, you can still paint oil base paint down to freezing. Just have to keep the can warm. :^)
Tonight was music night at The Red Mug in Superior WI. I brought my banjo and had some fun. I"m pooped from the porch project, but a very happy camper. I got to play some of my older songs tonight, originals that i wrote when i was playing banjo a lot. It was fun to conjure them up again.
Thanks Uncle. Today Tony and I got the sheathing on two of the walls, the window wall and the end by the doorway. Tony has a nice old panel door for me. Wed. may see more progress. Tea pots tomorrow.
Thanks Gary, We have a similar grill up at our garden so it's not a bad thing. Someone will love the grill. I got the T1-11 this morning, so the sheathing shall begin, same as the stuff under the cil.

Looks nice, Dave! Too bad you gotta lose the grill - worse that I live so far away! Enjoy the new space! ;-)
