  • Sorry for the bad translation ...
Personalbox want to announced a crowdfunding campaign for his first cigar box guitar album, "Blue ROAD" From france
if you want to see more information you can see the campaign at

    https://fr.ulule.com/personalbox-album/

for example You can order the digital album for 10€, for 20€ you will have the physical album.

PersonalBox exist since 2013 ... on the basis of an instrument manufacturing workshop from recycled everyday objects.
Since that date we are constantly evolving to make cigarboxGuitar, stompbox, or battery from a dryer ...
we are therefore an eco-friendly group, against the planned obsolescence, all this by playing a Trash-blues or Dirty Blues Rock ... provided that groove! ...
the first concerts emerged quickly with well-customized covers (ACDC, depech mode, seasick steve, white strips, telephone, Inxs, Rolling Stones, Berurier Noir, ...)
then the sound explorations quickly led us to create our own compositions.

  • Phill,

I though we were Friends already as well. Gladly accepted, and send me your message.
  • Oh, forgot to tell you my philosophy on guitar building.  My guitars MUST sound decent acoustically.  That is what I aim for.

  • Hey,  Thanks for the friend invite.

I am missing Paris these days.  Seems the terrorists fucked with the wrong guys.  I have lived in Europe quite a bit.  Mostly in Belgium.  The Flemish part (Brugge).

Here, I am building mostly "tall ship" ukes these days.  The necks are made from reclaimed Douglas Fir that was scrap from the building of the tall ship Matthew Turner, currently under construction here in Sausalito, Ca.  My shop is the galley of my 36' sailboat.  Pretty crowded.

  • Thanks Phill ,glad you think its free! but in fact there allways will bee input somehow from outside influence, wes and John talk about harmonics(arpeggios) and when i think of it i do use them alot, so you see what is free, the words where just inprofised, but still you can say its a song! sometimes its easy to bee original and simetimes its hard!! like live i gues.
