  • I have a couple John I am a Martinite and I think the cohiba box is the martin of cigar boxes. Spanish cedar is a relative of Mahogany I get making stuff with paper boxes but I'm chasing tone not quantity. This one needs a flatpup.

  • That was likely part of it subconsciously.   More so just the overall look.   I love Martins.   Don't have one right now, but may again some time.   My six string skills are more commensurate to my landfill guitars.  I do like the look of this Cohiba.

  • thanks John, my take on a traditional CBG  the headstock is a Martin knockoff.

  • Seems like the simple, unadorned box should not work so well with the beautiful  fretboard and head stock.  It sure works.  Handsome as heck.   Somehow reminds me of a Martin.
