I have a couple John I am a Martinite and I think the cohiba box is the martin of cigar boxes. Spanish cedar is a relative of Mahogany I get making stuff with paper boxes but I'm chasing tone not quantity. This one needs a flatpup.
That was likely part of it subconsciously. More so just the overall look. I love Martins. Don't have one right now, but may again some time. My six string skills are more commensurate to my landfill guitars. I do like the look of this Cohiba.
Seems like the simple, unadorned box should not work so well with the beautiful fretboard and head stock. It sure works. Handsome as heck. Somehow reminds me of a Martin.

thanks John, my take on a traditional CBG the headstock is a Martin knockoff.
