Electric tenor neck #2 013

Second of three necks I'm making for solid body electric tenor guitars. Maple was a lucky find at local home improvement center, with a modest amount of figuring. Rosewood fretboard slotted to 22.875" scale. Dual action truss rod, and tuner holes set to accept a 4-on-plate mandolin tuner rig I had in drawer. Next is to rub on multiple coats of Tung or Danish oil (not decided on which yet), then frets & all that comes with that fun job.

  • @Scott...never been asked to make necks for other builders. But I would consider it. You would need to give plenty of details for what you need...scale length, number of frets, if it's for a cigar box, the dimensions of box, width at nut desired, tuning peg orientation, etc.
