Beselin "1884" 3 String CBG

Antique Beselin cigar box (since 1884), neck/heel is made from a southern yellow pine stair tread salvaged out of a house that was built in the late 1800's, oak headstock wings salvaged from an antique table leaf, antique "Troy Grain & Fuel Co." yardstick fretboard, vintage dual hotrail humbucker pickup, skeleton key saddle, yardstick bridge, antique hinge tailpiece, brown open gear tuners, onyx nut, vintage brass strap buttons, antique furniture tack fret dots, the 12th fret marker is a brass spike from 1929 used by the railroads to date railroad ties when they were installed, 22 1/2" fretless scale, tuned GDG.

    Very nice! I really like the vintage/primitive look. I've built tons of primitive furniture and only a handful of cbgs, but I've never done one old timey looking. Guess I need to do that soon.

    Patrick, you often do a great mix of old and new.   This is more old and old.  I see the nice pickup, but it somehow fits with the vintage look.  Super nice.
