I took off a zero fret that gave me grief. It was too low and had a toothpick pushed in for a fix. It sounded like a sitar. Now it has a dog bone nut and a rocket ship with abalone porthole. I used a hodgepodge of tuners and one was too high. The hole was way up and made for little string angle on the third string. Just need to add a white ring below the string.

Thanks boys. To cold to spend much time in the shop but little quick raids make such fusses possible. The bone nut really made a difference. Now she's got a high ringing tone. Clear and loud. This is like an Irish tenor banjo. Short neck tuned Good Dog, Good Dog.
