  • Yay! Keep her!
  • Darn you guys, Dave and Jerry.  I am downsizing my herd and you make it just about impossible to let this one go.   I do like the look.  And it plays nice.  It just lacks a bit in volume.  Adding the 4th string and the low (EBEG#) tuning has helped.  Okay.  It's the only open E git I have and it capoes nicely to open G.  I am keeping it.

  • looks prrrrrrrrfect to me.,.,.,

  • I love this one Uncle. Not seen one of yours I didn't like but this one is tops.
  • LOL, Gary.  Deep!   CBGs and earth balance,

Thanks, Lonman,  Those are my best.  And I have messed some up a bit in the past.  I think the bigger f holes show better if you paint the underside black.   Seeing it from this angle,, I should have painted some more.

  • cool, like this, good job on the f-holes

  • I agree with AGP. I've built two 3-strings with 4-pole Elmar flat pups. In the final analysis, flux is just flux. Plus our efforts have balanced the whole universe of what you're doing here!

  • Thanks, Jeff.  It is more of a small rebuild.

Thanks, Alan.   Yup, you and I could be the Pyromania Duet.

  • You have built a beauty right there UJ. Love the look .
  • Ooooooh! me like Fire :-D ,the maths add up to me 'UJ', done plenty of 3 strings & 4 pickup poles, so it should work fine the other way round  ;-)
