21a CBG Build Mike Willmouth July 15 2017

This is my 21th Cigar Box Guitar Box build. I stripped down a paper covered box (a La Aroma De Cuba "Belicoso" - cutting the sound holes helped that decision) and Modpodged the label from the inside of the box to the front cover. The neck is Popular with a Red Oak fret board. The Scale length is 25". It has a Piezo Rod Pickup installed under the lid. The Sound holes were cut out using C.B. Gitty’s template. I used a Jumbo Fret for the nut along with a Wooden Retainer Nut. This is tuned to GDG. I got lucky on the bridge, it was one I made a while back and didn’t use – it fit just right for this build.
