thank you Uncle John. the idea was to make real, playable. had a tech help with the intonation, had to move the bridge! i start bass lessons monday using this git.
hi.....kingwood, morado, zebra, sandal wood (my favorite), rock maple, bocote, zincronite, mahogany horizontal piece between the two layers. need a narrow kerf carbide blade and a lot of patience, which I have little of. wood just makes you sloe down.

What sort of wood? I was cutting fretboards this morning out of some bloody old wood (no idea what it is) and the table saw was screaming!!
