Sorry to take so long responding. I dont get on-line much. You are building some beautiful stuff! Do you have any videos playing them?
To build resonators I buy a set of cones for a tri-cone, and use one each for three guitars. Here is a link to a video of putting together a three string reso I built for Shane,
howdy stevie, i just stopped by to answer your question about the f-holes on the cohiba resonator i built. i have seen them on a build that ju ju did so i asked him if ok for me to use them--he say yep.so i loked at the pic then i copied the pattern on cardboard and adjusted the size of them with pattern work, once i was happy with the cardboard pattern i cut the holes out of the cardboard the located where i wanted them to be on the box--then pencil drew them on the box.after that all i had to do was drill several holes and on the part that has the tail to them i used a coping saw to cut them to shape.hope this process helps you.thanks for your comment.
Welcome aboard, Stevie! You will find lots of helpful folks and information here on all things CBG (CBB, CBU, etc.) Feel free to poke around, ask questions, and post your stuff (photos, recordings, videos, etc.).
Been wanting to build a resonator for a while now. Going to be ordering a reso kit off Ebay soon and was wondering if anyone has any advice or photos to share.

Check it out if you haven't seen it yet. Of course lots of folks use various stuff for cones, but the real thing really barks.
Take care, Pat.
Welcome aboard!
