This other one has a brass strip under the bridge that the ends of the strings contact
Keith,There is a hole in the end of the box under this tailpiece.The stripped end of a wire is wrapped around one of the fixing screws, taken through the hole and the other end soldered to the jack socket ground terminal
Keith, I am not working on this project yet. I have been collecting cigar boxes and I have a nice supply of exotic woods. I ordered a copy of Cigar Box Guitars and it has not arrived yet. I have been doing quite a bit of reading and doing some thinking on the project. I want to build one for myself and then build for the servicemen. Thanks. Larry
