  • Bill - I thought I remembered that you were in Norman.  Not too far from Edmond!  About 5-6 months ago, a place called "Joe's Work Shop" opened up near my office near Memorial Road and Santa Fe in North OKC/Edmond.  It offers memberships with access to lots of power woodworking tools.  The folks there really like my CBG's and would like me to offer a class; in fact I've been showing one of the guys there how to build them.  He's certainly caught the bug, and it's all I can do to try and keep him from going off the deep end!  Would be cool to meet someday!   Gary

  • Hi Bill, just message me your address and the ones you'd like (or give me some measurements to select from). I'll mail a packet with my return address and you can send a check. All the slides are the same price. 10$ post paid. Thanks for the interest. I'll be happy to send some your way. .... Dave

  • Bill Capacitors are our friends. Might go a long ways to clear that up. I have both those tubes in abundance. I have two SB-1000's to the left and right of me. I am a old 160 hand on 1.880 LSB. I have not been active for a while. But ready to go his Winter. Using a Double Extended Zepp, my favorite for 160. I have been repairing and restoring Hethkits for years. My other passion. Some Health problems had me down for a couple years, but on the mend. I would have expected maybe a 6EA8 in there somewhere. I have a lot to learn. I have been tossing this around in my mind. The standard SB line audio board with a bit more amplification on the back end? Your thoughts? I can replicate the board easily.

  • Curious is the Amp from a print or Home brew? Very interested in Amps.

  • Very nice Bill!
