He he, yeah and I'm letting my secrets go (nah, glad to do it).
I get boxes from two places locally -- Halfway to Habana downtown Gville and there is another one a block or two north of Mast downtown Gville. Both places sell them for $2 to $5 per. If you travel to the Greensboro NC area, I stop in Whitsett (on I-40/85) at a place called J&R. They might have a few boxes but they get them in bulk now and not in individual boxes. Theirs were $.50 for "paper" or shall I say paper covered boxes like your Punch. I got a super one that I'm dying to make a 6 string elec out of... Oooooo.
I have been to the Tinderbox as well, and that has been the best resource. Went to one in Raleigh and they had a WALL of them each for about $2. The man gave me a deal and sold me 9 for $10. Score!
I get tuners from ebay $11 for the 3-3. I can send you a link. I recently posted a link to juststrings.com for cheap bulk strings. Why buy a full pack when you only need a few from the set...?
Lowes/HD of course for wood. Woodcraft off Woodruff road near Lowes (1327 Miller Road) has all the specialty woods (Maple, mahogany, bubinga, Wenge, koa, etc). Harbor Freight or Northern Tool for tools. If you want to do fretting, Harbor has a great saw! Also if you want frets, search for the member CBGitty here. He sells them cheap(er) than StewMac. You know about Stewart Macdonald I assume.
There are a few of us locals in the area. I think there is also another one in Inman as well.
Welcome aboard, Greg! You will find lots of helpful folks and information here on all things CBG (CBU, CBB, etc.) Feel free to poke around, ask questions, and post your stuff (photos, recordings, videos, etc.).

Where'd ya get the Punch box? I'm making one for my mom using a punch box. Should have it completed... oh sometime 2015 the rate I'm going.
