Grounding strings
What do I need to do to ground my strings? Do I solder a wire to the back of the pot and then ground it to the bridge? If so, does it matter which pot I solder to?

Recently at the Art Institute of Chicago, I found the prize of all cigar boxes. I'm puzzled at how to begin transforming this into the CBGs they were intended to be. ;)
Slot depth for bridges and nuts
Can you guys help me understand the physics behind slot depth?
What is worse: too deep or too shallow and why?
Is string buzz or other common issues attributable to incorrect slot depth?
