I'm gonna make another when I've tested this one, I can do a build but it's pretty basic stuff hacksaw drill files and polishing wheel in my dril press, using polishing compound.and after. Assembly . Polish before you're suspend the neo magnet in epoxy resin, as I found that heat generated in the polishing tends to melt the epoxy.. The only thing I would do differently Next time is instead of making the under part where the transformer is parallel with the arc of the top, I will try to move it over slightly, so as to be able to make
A hole in the front of the cbg and drop that part through the hole and the working face of the pickup could be flush with the surface of the guitar, which I think would look quite neat.

I haven't been able to do much as my right hand is now considerably worse. Still waiting for an operation, but today I did manage to solder the connections to my induction pickup, and to a jack socket, and placed the pickup below the strings, and it does work, with nice tone, but not very loud. I used the AS 140 500. 1' so I wondered if anyone has tried the 1000 .1' or other alternatives. I looked at the Alumatone discussion but couldn't find more recent posts.
I can't do a lot on the physical front so could do with keeping my little grey cells occupied.
