What do I need to do to ground my strings? Do I solder a wire to the back of the pot and then ground it to the bridge? If so, does it matter which pot I solder to?

I generally run the ground from pup to pot to pot to bridge to jack, but i have done them just an extra wire from either pot to bridge, both work but a continuous loop is recommended by some
