Thanks, Bruce. I always liked that song.
Hey, nice job on the song. I like that nice vibrato in your voice!
Thanks Steve. A new hat takes some getting used to. My old summer straw hat disintegrated and this was intended as the replacement. Turns out it may kind of hot for summer use. But good for cowboy songs!
Wonderful hat, UJ! (-:
Hey, sorry I was slow in posting the lyrics and chords. I capoed 2 on a DGB guitar, so I did it in A, not G.
Thanks, Muddy, Good taste Chuck, Duck, Richey and Darryl.
Regarding the guitar: Some of you know that up to now, I own and play only my own builds. This may change soon as Jim Morris and I plan a trade. My mandolin builds have disappointed and I may trade a git for a Jim Morris mando. The git in this song was one offered. Linda played it on the weekend and claimed it for herself. I am kind of glad. It sure sounds and plays nice. Jim was leaning toward a reso build anyway.
great job uj,voice in fine fettle, well done
Never heard the song before but I loved it. Great stuff as ever!
Love the song Uncle John. Well done!
